The School Day

 

The times of the school day are as follows :-

 

8.50 a.m. to 12.00 noon

  

12.55 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.

 

There is a mid-morning break of 15 minutes and a break in the afternoon for Reception.

Lunchtime is from 12.00 noon to 12.55 p.m.

 

Pupils are expected to be punctual.

 

In bad weather, the children are allowed into school from 8.40 a.m. otherwise the school bell rings at 8.50 a.m.  Before school, parents/guardians are responsible for their child/children and no child should be left unsupervised in the playground before the bell is rung at 8.50 a.m.

 

The number of teaching hours each week is 21 hours and 40 minutes for Reception, Y1 and Y2
